To have Radmin Server 3.0 installed on all or specified domain machines with selected security and other settings, follow these steps (Windows 2003 Server is used):
1. Making ".REG" file with your Radmin settings
Install Radmin Server 3.0 on any domain computer (not domain controller) and launch "Settings for Radmin Server". Click on "Permissions" and give rights according to your policies. The use of local "Administrators" group is advisable (sample computer's name is DC1):

Here you can make any additional customization of Radmin Options. Then your ".reg" file will have more entries.
Then launch regedit and export
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Radmin\v3.0\Server\Parameters

Sample name of this file is "DomainAdminsAccess.reg":
2. Making an ".MST" file with selected registry settingsDownload and install Microsoft Office Resource Kit:

Launch Custom Installation Wizard:

Choose Radmin Server 3.0 Installation file rserv30.msi:

Choose "Yes" if warning appears:

Then create a new ".MST" file:

Then click "Next" several times until Registry Editing window appears. Choose ".reg" file with security settings created at the first step:

Check that registry settings were taken:

Now click "Next" several times till finish.
3. Group Policy editing Launch "Active Directory Users and Computers" and choose "Properties" for domain:

Now edit the default domain policy. It means that Radmin will be installed on each domain computer. If you want to specify, make a different Organization Unit with desired list of computers. Here sample domain name is DOMAIN2:

"Group Policy Object Editor" window appears. Rightclick on "Computer Configuration" - "Software Settings"-"Software Installation", choose New-Package:

Choose "Advansed" option:

Then choose "Modification" tab and click Add:

Choose MST file you have created during previous step:

Click Open - OK.
Check that Radmin Server 3.0 line appeared :

Now Radmin Server 3.0 with customized settings will be installed on all domain computers during next restart.
4. Setting firewall exceptions (when necessary)Launch Group Policy Object Editor, as in step 3 above. Choose Domain Profile. In Domain Profile enable "Allow port exceptions":

And define opened port, 4899 by default:


After next reboot these settings will be applied to domain computers.
